Biotic
1. Bull Shark- a top predator- affects the number of dolphins, fish, and other small sea animals.
2. Plankton- the main producer of the Neritic Zone. Without this, populations of fish would be small.
3. Sponges- some have a mutualistic relationship with algae. They provide carbon dioxide for the algae, while the algae provides oxygen for it.
4. Seaweed- the second major producer of the Neritic Zone.
5. Fish- sharks prey on all the different species. If all fish suddenly disappeared, the food web would be greatly affected.
