This fragile and endangered coral lives in areas such as the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Florida Keys, and resembles antlers on a moose. They provide a home for many fish and invertebrates. Somehow, they thrive mostly in areas near Miami and Fort Lauderdale, in southern Florida. They can grow over six feet tall and inhabit many forms of life at once. It is currently being protected aggressively on the Floridian coasts.
